Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of all oil and gas career development and professional training services offered by OilGasCareerPro and describe the rights and obligations between clients and our specialized energy sector career consulting platform. By using our services, enrolling in training programs, or accessing our professional development content, the client fully acknowledges and accepts these terms.

2. Service Provision and Enrollment

  1. Enrollment in our career development services requires account creation and service agreement confirmation.
  2. Certain Professional or Executive services may require career assessment completion and professional development goal documentation.
  3. Career guidance, training materials, and industry credentials are strictly confidential and for personal professional use only.
  4. The final decision on career advancement strategies and professional development utilization lies with the client, who assumes responsibility for their choices within our recommendations.

3. Service Contracts and Cancellation

  1. Service duration depends on the chosen development package and is specified in the respective service agreement.
  2. Cancellation of Career Essentials services is possible without contractual penalty up to 14 days after initial enrollment, provided no personalized coaching or premium training materials have been accessed.
  3. For Industry Expert and Leadership Elite packages that extend beyond the basic development phase, cancellation fees apply according to the service agreement.
  4. Failure to participate in provided training or services does not entitle the client to a refund of service fees.

4. Payment Terms

  1. Service fees are payable according to the payment schedule detailed in the service agreement.
  2. For comprehensive career development projects, a down payment structure with milestone payments may be offered.
  3. All prices are stated in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.
  4. Payments are processed through secure, encrypted channels with detailed receipts issued for all transactions.

5. Refund Policy

  1. Since OilGasCareerPro provides professional development services and not physical products, our refund policy relates to service quality and training program structures. For clients who have enrolled in our Career Essentials package and wish to terminate services within 72 hours of enrollment confirmation, a full refund will be granted if no substantial training materials have been accessed. After this period or if substantial content has already been accessed (including but not limited to career assessments, personalized coaching sessions, or training modules), fees are non-refundable, but services can be adapted to meet client expectations.
  2. For Industry Expert and Leadership Elite packages, the initial enrollment fee is non-refundable under any circumstances as it represents valuable professional time and expertise already provided. The remaining package fee structure follows a prorated refund policy based on service completion milestones documented at the time of cancellation request.
  3. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@oilgascareerpro.com and will be processed within 10 business days upon approval.
  4. This refund policy does not apply to third-party costs incurred during the service delivery process (e.g., certification exam fees, external training provider costs) that are passed to the client at actual cost.
  5. Refund policy for specialized services: For services that include custom career development plans and specific industry training, we offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the delivered services, you have the right to request a revision within 7 days of completion. After two revisions and continued dissatisfaction, you may request a partial refund considering the services already rendered and effort invested. We always strive to find a mutually satisfactory solution and ensure the highest quality in our career development services.

6. Client Behavior and Responsibilities

  1. Mutual respect and professional communication are fundamental principles throughout the entire career development process.
  2. Clients are expected to provide accurate information about their career goals, professional background, and development requirements.
  3. Timely feedback on service quality and training effectiveness is essential to ensure an efficient development experience.
  4. OilGasCareerPro reserves the right to terminate services without refund if client behavior impedes service delivery or violates professional standards.

7. Service Results and Warranties

  1. While we maintain the highest standards of professional development, the final responsibility for career advancement and professional decisions lies with the client.
  2. Our service guarantees thorough industry knowledge and access to our professional network, but cannot guarantee specific job placements or career outcomes within a specific timeframe.
  3. Career analyses and industry insights are conducted with professional care but do not constitute guarantees for future employment or salary increases.
